Discovery Canyon

 Auntie Sherry brought the kids down during the heat wave in July.  We went to discovery Canyon and the kids had a great time!

The Fair

Grandma and Grandpa G were visiting for the weekend so we decided to go the fair.  Nate's favourite ride was the slide.  After each ride he would say "Let's do it again!"

 

 Nate wanted a butterfly on his cheek..if you ask me it looks more like a bird!

Westerner Days Parade

Nate had a great time at the parade this year.  We walked down and sat by the casino.  He loved his balloon sword and the horses.

CANADA DAY!!!

 Auntie Lacey came to Red Deer to celebrate Canada Day with Lauren and me.  We headed to Bower Ponds to take in the entertainment and food.  It poured rain so we didn't stay very long.  Nate celebrated Canada's Birthday in Mayerthorpe.

Nate's First Fishing Trip

Uncle Mike came home in June and promised Naters he would take him fishing.  One evening we took him to Bower Ponds.  He loved every minute!!!

 

Nate's Little "Ister"

Nate loves Lauren so much!  He is always asking if her can help his little "ister."  He is an awesome big brother!  One time after being away from her for a day ,he ran in the house and said"Mom where's my friend, Lauren?."  Too cute.

Welcome Lauren Sydney Gylander

It has been a really LONG time since I have blogged and our life has changed so much...for the better!!!  On April 4th we welcomed our daughter into the world.  Lauren Sydney Gylander weighed 6lbs 10oz. and was 20 inches long. She was delivered by c -section by Dr.Marais.  We are absolutely thrilled to have a baby girl to love and Nate loves being a big brother!  We are blessed.
